Edgmont Township is divided into 14 zoning districts. The
location and boundaries of the districts are shown on
the Township Zoning Map.

Zoning Permit Application
–
use this form for sheds and garages under 300 square
feet without utility connections, fences and patios.

Zoning Hearing Board Application &
Information
–
the Zoning Hearing Board considers applications that
challenge the validity of the Zoning Ordinance, request
Variances or Special Exceptions from the Zoning
Ordinance, and appeal the determination of the Zoning
Officer or Township Engineer. See
Section 2204 of
the Zoning Ordinance “Functions of the
Board”. The Zoning Hearing Board generally meets
on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Applications must be
received and deemed complete not less than 22 days
before the hearing date.
